Indoor air quality can have a significant impact on health, comfort, and productivity¹. That’s why an ERV (or Energy Recovery Ventilation) system can make the difference in maintaining a healthy indoor environment in shared spaces. No matter if it’s an office, school, or retail space.

How does ERV work?

Samsung's ERV systems are ventilation solutions that improve indoor air quality and temperature by exchanging stale indoor air with fresh outdoor air, while recovering the energy from the outgoing air. This is done using a heat exchanger that transfers heat and exchanges moisture from outgoing air to precondition incoming air. ERV systems provide a consistent flow of fresh air, creating a pleasant and refreshing atmosphere for occupants. Our ERV Plus units can even be connected to a Samsung VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system to form a complete climate control solution.

Key features of ERV systems

Improved indoor air quality

An optional CO₂ sensor allows the ERV to detect CO₂ levels and automatically send fresh air into a room. Maintaining the desired indoor humidity level can be accomplished with an optional humidifier kit, which balances moisture levels effectively.

    Commercial split

Commercial split systems are designed to cool or heat larger areas that require bigger capacities and (multiple) indoor units to function in unison. This solution is optimal for small to medium-sized businesses such as restaurants, retail spaces, or offices.

    VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow)

VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) is an air conditioning system that uses a refrigerant to control the flow of heating and cooling throughout a building, allowing for individualized temperature control in different zones or rooms.

    HVM (Hydro Variable Multi) Chiller

Traditional air conditioning systems typically use air ducts to distribute heated or cooled air throughout a building. In contrast, an HVM Chiller system is a type of air conditioning system that uses water to cool or heat the air in a building. It works by circulating cold or warm water from a central unit to different parts of the building through water pipes.
