No cold drafts and easy maintenance

The WindFree™ Comfort S2 offers users cool comfort without cold drafts¹. Its thousands of micro-holes disperse air gently and quietly through a space. Thanks to the Motion Detection Sensor³, which detects movement in a space, cooling is also efficient and precise. Users can control the WindFree™ Comfort S2 remotely, using the SmartThings app⁶. They can also rely on AI¹⁰ to analyse their usage and weather conditions for automatic optimisation of performance. The Easy Filter¹³ is easy to access for cleaning⁸.

Comfortable coolness without cold drafts

WindFree™ Cooling mode keeps the room comfortably cool. It disperses air gently and quietly through 23,000 micro-holes, without cold drafts. This results in a “Still Air” environment with a low air speed and limited noise². Thanks to the advanced airflow structure of this mode, wider and larger areas are cooled evenly.

Disclaimers

1. ASHRAE (the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers) defines “Still Air” as air currents moving at speeds below 0.15 m/s, with no cold drafts.

2. Tested on the AR12TXCAAWKNEU model in an anechoic environment. WindFree™ mode generates 23 dB(A) of noise, compared to 26 dB(A) produced by the conventional Samsung model. Sound pressure level is a relative value, depending on the distance and acoustic environment. Sound pressure level may differ according to operating conditions.

3. In normal default mode. End user may adjust the time interval by selecting Eco or Comfort mode or through SmartThings. The absence of movement is tracked after a minimum of five minutes and maximum of 60 minutes for each interval.
