WindFree™ Cooling mode keeps the room comfortably cool. It disperses air gently and quietly through 23,000 micro-holes, without cold drafts. This results in a “Still Air” environment with a low air speed and limited noise². Thanks to the advanced airflow structure of this mode, wider and larger areas are cooled evenly.

The Tri-Care filter⁴ helps to keep indoor air cleaner. Its three layers include a high-density filter that extracts large household dust particles, fibres and animal hair. Its filter with Zeolite coating captures fine dust, allergens and helps to reduce certain types of viruses and bacteria in the air⁵.

The Easy Filter Plus is conveniently located on top of the unit, so users can remove and clean the filter without opening the cover. Its dense mesh captures certain types of dust, which helps to keep the heat exchanger clean and operating efficiently. The filter also has a special coating which makes it better at trapping other airborne contaminants ¹³, improving indoor air quality.

The Freeze Wash⁷ function makes the air conditioner easy to maintain for users. Reducing the temperature of the heat exchanger in the unit to -15°C and then defrosting the accumulated ice helps to remove certain pollutants in the heat-exchanger⁸. 

Users can cool their home efficiently, even when there is no one present, thanks to the Motion Detection Sensor. If no movement is detected for 20 minutes3, the unit automatically switches to WindFree™ mode to save energy and reduce cooling capacity. After 40 minutes, the temperature is increased by 2°C in WindFree™ mode and after another 40 minutes, the unit enters standby mode. As soon as movement is detected, it returns to the previously selected mode. Users can adjust the motion detection time to suit their personal preferences using the SmartThings app. They can also set the unit to avoid blowing air directly at occupants or to follow their movements in the room. 

AI Auto¹⁰ Comfort analyses room conditions and usage patterns¹¹ for optimal performance. The unit automatically switches to the most appropriate cooling and heating mode (WindFree™, Fast and Normal Cooling and Heating) based on users’ preferences and weather conditions. 

AI Auto Comfort is compatible with Bixby 2.012, allowing users to give voice commands, too.

Users can use the SmartThings App⁶ to remotely adjust and control their air conditioner even when they are not home. They can turn it on or off, select the cooling mode, schedule the air conditioner’s operation and monitor power consumption. 

The unit comes with a lightweight⁹, easy-to-use SolarCell remote controller with a large OLED display. It doesn’t need batteries: users can charge it by exposing the integrated solar panel on the back of the remote controller to direct light. A single, fully charged battery can last up to two years. There is also a USB-C port for fast charging.
