This Privacy Notice ("Notice") applies to the processing of personal data in connection to all of our services as controlled by Samsung Electronics Air Conditioner Europe B.V. ("SEACE"), a company incorporated in the Netherlands under registered number 67060269 and whose registered office is at Evert van de Beekstraat 310, 1118 CX Schiphol in the Netherlands. The services may consist for example of your use of our website, marketing communications, the Samsung Climate Club, online services and more (“Services”). All references to "we", "us" and "our" are references to SEACE, which is the data controller of personal data processed under this Notice. In some cases SEACE may issue a specific privacy notice for certain products or services. In case the specific notice deviates from this Notice, the terms of the specific notice will prevail.
We may update this Notice periodically to reflect changes in our processing of personal data with respect to the Services provided or changes in applicable law. We will post a notice on our website https://samsung-climatesolutions.com (“Website”) to notify you in advance of material changes to our Notice and indicate at the top of the Notice when it was most recently updated.

When you submit your contact details via the contact form within the Installer locator your data is immediately shared by our system (Adobe Experience Manager, ‘AEM’) with our e-mail client Twilio Sendgrid in order to inform the relevant installer and send you a confirmation e-mail. The data only remains in the working memory of AEM and Twilio Sendgrid. When the data is sent to the installer, all personal data is immediately deleted from our system. Only anonymous statistical data is kept, such as the amount of contact requests submitted for each installer and when these are submitted. In this context, your data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest and for the purpose to facilitate initial contact between you and a selected installer. The installer is an independent data controller for your personal data. Please contact the installer for their privacy notice on how they process your personal data. |

When you submit your contact details via the “Get in touch” contact form, your data is immediately shared by our system (Adobe Experience Manager) to Salesforce.com (“SFDC”) in order to connect you to a representative from our sales team so that you can receive a call back or an email reply to your request, depending on the option you chose via the contact form. When the data is sent to SFDC, all personal data is immediately deleted from our system (Adobe Experience Manager). The data only remains in the working memory of SFDC. If there is no usage history for lead, contact or opportunity within seven (7) years, the data will be deleted from the SFDC system. Additionally, the data will be deleted if you exercise your right to deletion of data under GDPR. The legal basis for our collection, use and sharing of your personal data is your consent you provide to us at the point of collection of your information through the “Get in touch” contact form. You may withdraw your consent any time. When you choose your country to be “Germany” or “the Netherlands”, you may be directly contacted by our local business partners in Germany: Marken-Distributions GmbH (MTF) or in the Netherlands: Ambrava B.V. The data you submit will be processed for the business and commercial purpose of connecting you for further communication by our local partners. This communication can include news, information on services, as well as marketing, sales and product updates. - Other parties in connection with corporate transactions: We may disclose your information to a third party as part of a merger or transfer, acquisition or sale, or in the event of a bankruptcy.
- Our business partners: Partners who we work together with. For example, installers of our products upon your request to share information with them and other local business partners, for example our distributors or wholesalers.
With regards to our processing activities, we engage various service providers to process personal data on our behalf. Due to ongoing dynamic partnerships, for security and confidentiality reasons we are restricted to list out the names of our processors and have clarified the categories of processors. In accordance with applicable law, it is your right to:
