Cool rooms rapidly. The twin compressor works stably at any speed, as its two cylinders rotate alternately. The BLDC motor’s Neodymium magnets are 3x stronger than normal, so it generates powerful and faster rotation. So it cools the air 43% faster² and disperses cool air farther and wider³.

Feel comfortably cool without disturbing your daily life. WindFree™ air conditioners gently and uniformly disperse air through thousands of micro air holes covering the entire front panel. The resulting very low air speed generates less air friction and noise⁴ compared to normal cooling.

WindFree™ PM 1.0 Filter captures ultrafine dust
Protect yourself from utrafine dust. A PM1.0 Filter traps ultrafine dust using an electrostatic precipitator⁵. Colored lights show the current air quality and a sensor detects when the air is dirty, so it can be automatically cleaned⁶. And the washable filter is cost-effective to maintain.

Personalized comfort welcomes you home
Feel comfortably cool as soon as you get home. Welcome Cooling, part of the SmartThings App⁷, detects your location by tracking your smartphone’s GPS⁸. If you come within a preset distance, it automatically sets the room temperature at the desired level, using your preferred mode and settings.
Remotely control it anytime, anywhere
Control the temperature effortlessly. Using the SmartThings App⁷,⁸ you can remotely control and monitor it with just a touch. You can also control it with your voice using a voice assistant⁹, such as Samsung Bixby¹⁰, Amazon Alexa¹¹ or Google Assistant¹². It even suggests the best settings.
Smart energy optimization
Control energy usage. SmartThings Energy¹³ lets you easily check your power consumption¹⁴ . If the estimated amount¹⁵ exceeds your target, it adjusts the energy usage of all smart appliances. When the air conditioner is on it draws the blinds and alerts you if you go out.¹⁶

PM 1.0 filter removes 50% of 0.3μm size dust particles in a 30m2 indoor area with 10 minutes operation per hour. Tested on the AR13TYAAAWKNST model. Results may vary depending on environmental factors and individual use.
