Air conditioning units for individual spaces

Single Split air conditioners are air-to-air heat pumps: the outdoor unit extracts heat or cold from the outdoor air and transfers this energy (heat or cold) directly to the indoor air through the indoor unit. Our energy labels range from A++ to A+.

Our air conditioners do more than simply cool a room: they can heat it, dehumidify it, and some units can even purify the indoor air. This offers users climate comfort all year-round.

Samsung’s unique WindFree™ technology directs air through 23,000 tiny holes in the panel. This means that the flow of air is gentle and cools the room gradually but noticeably, without cold drafts¹. Fast Cooling mode helps the space to reach the desired temperature quickly, for instant relief from outside heat.

The Motion Detect Sensor helps the unit to cool a room efficiently, whether the user is present or not. If the sensor does not detect movement for 20 minutes, the unit automatically switches mode to save energy. 

Samsung’s SmartThings App enables users to control their unit remotely, monitor its power consumption, and even set its schedule.  The new SmartThings Energy feature¹ allows users to monitor and possibly save energy while also keeping track of monthly energy costs. SmartThings Energy offers the ultimate home energy management system, and real energy savings through rich insights and energy saving automations². Users can combine Samsung HVAC with third party solar systems to enable smart pre-cooling and pre-heating to maximize own use of solar energy. SmartThings energy also enables users to activate AI energy saving mode on all Samsung appliances for hassle-free energy savings.

²Amount of costs saved are dependent on various factors such as a user's electricity plan, indoor/outdoor temperature, and other usage conditions. With the SmartThings App, user may for example program the relevant Samsung indoor unit when the electricity price is offered at its lowest price or turn off the unit when not in use to minimize energy consumption.
