The EHS ClimateHub and Hydro indoor units have a slim fit design¹ that fit harmoniously with existing home appliances and cabinets, especially as they are a light color. So they can be installed in a variety of spaces and are suitable for multi-unit dwellings or apartments.

Quick & easy installation

Install the EHS ClimateHub and Hydro Unit system quickly and easily – even in just one day. Magnetic filters, 3-way valves, and an expansion vessel are included. The 2-zone models² can create two zones without the need for additional devices. And you can choose a 2, 4, or 6kW³ capacity for the backup heater.

Designed to save energy without compromising heating capabilities, the system enhances the ClimateHub's heat transfer area and reduces heat loss⁴. The water heating efficiency has improved from 115% to 148%⁵.

Get smart about your heating and home. AI Home⁷ is an intuitive control center with a 7” touch display that supports various languages and has a simple layout and icons. It also lets you monitor your solar PV energy usage⁸. And control other smart appliances⁹ connected to SmartThings.

New Emergency Mode
If the heat pump fails or does not function properly, emergency mode is activated automatically. The auto emergency mode setting provides warm, pleasant temperatures and hot water by switching to an electric heater¹² instead of the heat pump. The latest model allows you access to emergency mode via the AI Home Automatic Emergency Mode function.

Effortless support
The AI Home provides easy access to the system’s user manual. It allows you to download it onto your smartphone device by scanning the QR code shown on the 7" display¹³.

1. Dimensions: ClimateHub Mono = 598(W)x1,850(H)x600(D)mm, Hydro Unit Mono = 530(W)x840(H)x350(D)mm.

2. Available in both the ClimateHub Mono and Hydro Unit Mono. The 2-Zone model is equipped with a circulation pump, mixing valve and temperature sensor, which are not included in the Standard model.

3. The 2kW and 4kW capacities are available in a single phase, while the 6kW capacity is available in 3 phases. By adding a 3kW backup heater (MHC-300FP), which supports both single and 3 phases, you can create an electric heater that delivers up to 9kW, to provide reliable heating in extremely cold areas. The MHC-300FP is sold separately.

4. Based on internal testing comparing the total heat loss: a conventional ClimateHub tank with PU Foam insulation = 92.3W, a new ClimateHub tank with 3 layered insulation = 42.4W.

5. Based on overall heat transfer rate coefficient: a conventional ClimateHub tank with PU Foam insulation = 92.3W, a new ClimateHub tank with 3 layered insulation = 42.4W. Based on the EU test conditions EN16147, compared to the previous model.

6. Based on internal testing using a 5kW model (AE050CXYDEK/EU), compared to not using AI Energy mode. Reduces the energy consumption of supplying sanitary hot water by up to 40% and space heating by up to 10%. Results will vary by model. AI Energy mode can be activated via the SmartThings App. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. Its activation status can be monitored in the Zone Overview screen of AI Home.
