    The new EHS Split range uses R32 refrigerant. This refrigerant has a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) compared to the previous EHS Split model (AE120AXEDEH/EU), containing R410A refrigerant¹. It also reduces the amount of refrigerant needed¹.

    Compact design

    The EHS Split R32 solution comes with a single outdoor unit that can be connected to an indoor system of your customer’s choice. The outdoor unit has been redesigned to include a single fan instead of a double fan. This reduces its height by 40%³.

     

    Disclaimers:

    1. GWP rating: R32 refrigerant = 675 vs. R410A refrigerant = 2,088. 2. Able to reach 70oC at an outside temperature of –25oC with the use of a booster heater. In normal operation, the previous EHS Split model (AE120AXEDEH/EU), the conventional heating system is able to generate up to 55°C. 3. The EHS Split R410A has a height of 1,420 mm, whereas the height of the new EHS Split R32 is 850 mm. 4. For charges below 1.84 kg, IEC 60335-2-40:2018 and EN 378-1:2016 do not establish any minimum floor area restriction. 5. The high capacity EHS Split R32 has a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) rating of A++ for LWT 55°C, so it is more efficient than a conventional EHS Split R410A with an A+ rating. Based on internal testing in accordance with EN14825 on a 12.5kW model (AE125DXEDEG/EU), compared to a conventional model (AE120AXEDEH/EU) when generating domestic hot water at 55°C at an outdoor temperature of 7°C. Results may vary depending on the system configuration and actual usage conditions.
